North West Health MEC Sello Lehari will lead a two days rollout of Tshela Ka Itekanelo healthy lifestyle awareness, the 1.1 million close the gap treatment campaign as well as Africa Vaccination Week awareness in the Dr KK District, Ventersdorp. Africa Vaccination week is observed from 24-30 April and in the province Bojanala and Dr KK districts are on the National district list of arears with high number of unimmunised children, however, recent performance in the province shows more attention needed at all districts. This initiatives form part of a province-wide drive to promote healthy living by regular exercising, healthy diet, safe sexual practices, while encouraging all citizens to know their HIV status, adherence to treatment and tracing defaulters back to treatment.
