The First Ever Digital Clinic in the Province Opened

Setlagole – The North West Health MEC Madoda Sambatha has officially opened the first ever digital clinic in the Province. The ground breaking project is a partnership between the Department of Health, Department of Social Development, Ratlou Local Municipality and Samsung. MEC Sambatha was joined in this official opening by the Mayor of Ratlou Cllr Tebogo Modise, Samsung Head of Africa Corporate Citizenship, Ms Masechaba Vilakazi and executive managers of the two Departments. Kgosikgolo Phoi of Madibogo Village also graced the occasion.

Orkney in Matlosana – Mining communities in the North West Province are some of the hotspots for health service delivery. This has been evident over the years as informal settlements and townships continue to grow closer to mines.
PROVINCIAL HEA LTH RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2019

The North West Department of Health invites researchers and interested parties to a Research Conference to be held on the 12th–13th March 2019 in Mahikeng. Researchers who conducted their research within departmental facilities are encouraged to share their recommendations and submit an abstract for oral presentation at the conference. Posters are also welcome for display.
All approvals for presentations will be determined by the committee and participants will be informed accordingly.
Submission format All abstracts must be:
- Word document
- Not more than 250 words/ one page.
- Arial format size 11
- Background, objectives, methods, results and conclusion/recommendations.
