According to the facility managers, they closed it after receiving both written threats via social media, print media and voice clips that the nurses in the clinic are useless, with further threats to set the clinic on fire whilst the nurses are on duty.

MEC Sambatha visited the family of a 26 year old pregnant mother who lost both her twins as well as Madibogopan Clinic which was closed by staff members, as a resolution from a staff meeting they held on the 25th August 2021.
